Study on the Intelligent Searching Strategy of MAS and CBR Based Rapid Development Platform for Machining Center

摘要
One of the most urgent problems faced by machine tool corporations at home is that they can't satisfy the customers' strong demands for short-term design cycle and some special characteristics. Therefore, designing a rapid development platform which has a certain degree of intelligent ability to help the machine tools designer is meaningful. In this paper, a Multi-Agent System (MAS)-based framework which is applied to the Machining Center (MC) was founded using the mainstream technology of distributed intelligent software system. The corresponding functions of different agents were introduced. The conceptual design of Machining Center based on Case-based-Reasoning (CBR) was carried out by the design agent. Such key issues as the expression and index of cases based on MC character were proposed and a cases library of former products was set up. Using this platform, a product model which has the greatest similarity with the customer order information can be proposed by encapsulated CBR intelligent searching strategy. It can provide a stabile foundation for the next parametric design of MC products.
