摘要
For the purpose of prevention of post-gastrectomy syndrome and a less invasive and yet curative oncological resection, we performed laparoscopic pylorus-preserving gastrectomy with lymph node dissection for a patient with early gastric cancer. The patient's postoperative course was excellent. As of this 17th postoperative month, he has never experienced dumping syndrome or alkaline reflux gastritis. This procedure seemed not only technically feasible, but also excellent in its reduced surgical invasiveness and better postoperative quality of life.
