Geotechnical evidence of ice scour as a guide to pipeline burial depth

摘要：
This note suggests that the maximum depth of ice scour in an Arctic seabed is marked by a break in geotechnical properties. This gives us an economical alternative way of finding the burial depth needed to protect a pipeline, using data which are in any case needed for other purposes.
