摘要
This study is intended to evaluate the seismic response of the Shinkansen bridge-train system under the condition of considering their dynamic interaction using a developed analytical approach. In this approach, the performance of the bridge structure is assumed within the elastic range under the precondition of adopting moderate ground motions. A bullet train car model idealized as sprung-mass dynamic system is established. The viaduct is modeled with three-dimensional finite elements. The seismic responses of the bridge and the train are simulated and evaluated. Some useful conclusions, indicating the importance of considering the dynamic interaction between the train and the bridge, are obtained based on the analytical results.
