35Cl NQR field constants for the Cl4Sn • 2POCl3 complex

摘要
An analysis of the NQR frequencies and their field constants for the Cl4Sn . 2POCl(3) complex and its constituent components shows that the complexation is accompanied by a rearrangement of the electron density distribution, which manifests itself through a decrease in the frequencies of the acceptor moiety of the molecule and an increase in the frequencies of the donor moiety. The polarizabilities of the chlorine atoms, characterized by the NQR field constant, slightly increase in the donor moiety of the molecule and decrease in the acceptor one. The high specificity of the field constants of the chlorine atoms in individual series of compounds is violated in the complex under study.
