摘要
Productive Grazing, Healthy Rivers: Improving riparian and in-stream biodiversity is a new research program under the Victorian Government's Ecologically Sustainable Agriculture Initiative whose aim is to improve in-stream and riparian biodiversity on grazing properties in high-rainfall areas. The project team is comprised of eight staff across three divisions of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment: Graeme Ward, John Bowman (Regional Services), Alan Crouch, John Davies, Phil Papas (Parks, Flora and Fauna), Nigel Ainsworth, Michelle Jones and Sharon Aarons (Agriculture). This paper describes the methodology and highlights eight key management issues of concern for biodiversity improvement in and around rivers on private land.
