摘要
This paper presents an application of dual stator winding induction motor in regenerative operation of battery electric vehicles. The simulation model of dual stator winding is presented. Both winding groups are connected to two independent inverters. In normal operation, the two windings are fed by two inverters in motoring operation and produce torque for the driving system. During brake, one winding group still receives energy and supplies flux-producing current to the motor whereas the other winding is not controlled but its induced current flows through free-wheeling diodes of the inverter. The regenerative energy is controlled and returned to battery by a bi-directional DC-DC converter.
