摘要
This paper deals with the characteristics and influences of foreign direct investments (FDI) on the economic development of Croatia. Foreign direct investments have for a long time been considered an important factor of international trade and cooperation. They are one of the possible sources of restructuring the economies of developing countries and transitional countries. Because of this, the paper aims to connect the analysis of the transitional development of Croatia so far with the marks of features of foreign direct investments. Besides this, the author states the necessary preconditions for an increased inflow of foreign investment into Croatia.
