摘要
Oriented silicon steel is employed as the stator to improve the electromagnetic performance of out-rotor fractional-slot permanent magnet synchronous motor. The easy magnetic direction is s radial, difficult magnetic direction is tangential. By the characteristics of high magnetic conductivity at the easy magnetic direction in oriented silicon steel, the magnetic field of motor teeth is improved. Based on the special structure of fractional-slot and short magnetic circuit, the negative influence caused by difficult magnetic direction in stator yoke is minimized. When the positive effect of the tooth is greater than the negative effect of the yoke, the overall performance of the motor increases, and then the power density of the permanent magnet motor can be increased. The models of oriented silicon steel and non-oriented silicon steel are established by finite element simulation software, then the above conclusions are verified by simulations.
