摘要：

This study is prepared for the purpose of presenting some customization necessities in DSpace software that is frequently used by academic institutional repositories in Turkey and giving suggestions on adding some modules to DSpace. In this study, the applications of ISTE (Iskenderun Technical University) Academic Institutional Repository system applications and examples. It is thought that making DSpace more ergonomic will have direct positive impact on open access movements.
