摘要
Although knowledge management is recognized as a critical success factor in program management little research has been conducted to date on the linkages between knowledge management and program management. The effective creation, transfer and reuse of knowledge throughout program management are crucial to organizations following project management principles effectively achieving their business strategies. A model has been developed to demonstrate how knowledge is created, transferred, captured and reused within project and program management. The model Utilises a task based approach to knowledge management and assumes that knowledge is created, transferred and reused as a result of an individual performing a specific task, which in this context is a project at the project level and a program at the program level.
