摘要
Porous Fe-Si alloys with different nominal compositions ranging from Fe-10wt% Si to Fe-50wt% Si were fabricated through a reactive synthesis of Fe and Si elemental powder mixtures. The effects of Si contents on the pore structure of porous Fe-Si alloy were investigated in detail. The results showed that the open porosity, gas permeability and maximum pore size of the porous Fe-Si alloys increased with increasing Si contents, indicating that the porosity and pore size can be tailored by changing the Si contents. The pore structure parameter including the open porosity, gas permeability, maximum pore size obeyed the Hagen-Poiseuille formula with the constant G=0.035 m(-1)Pa(-1)s(-1) for the reactively synthesized porous Fe-Si alloys. The mechanical property of the porous Fe-Si alloys showed applicability in the filtration industries.
