Research on damp capacity of passive isolation device based on shape memory alloy re-centring dampers

摘要
Shape memory alloy (SMA) is provided with preferable damp capacity at pseudo-elasticity state, applying this property, a passive isolation device based on SMA is introduced. If the SMA elements are disposed correctly, remarkable dissipation capacity and fully re-centring are obtained by isolation system. In this paper according to the thermo dynamics constitutive relation of SMA materials, the extract method of the thermo-dynamics non-linear equation is presented; a numerical program example is presented to illustrate correctness of the system discussed above. According to the results, the working property of the isolation system is excellent.
