摘要
Tourism-dependent Small Island Developing States face a number of mounting pressures, calling into question the potential for further development of the industry. We argue that, in the short tomedium term, tourism is a pragmatic strategy but that islands' tourism dependence could be mitigated by the strengthening of economic linkages and the reduction of economic leakages.
