摘要
This work presents part of a multidisciplinary study of-the Parana River floodplain, region of Porto Rico-Parana. For the water, water hyacinth roots and sediments samples collect were selected 3 subsystems of the alluvial plain with proper characteristics: 1) Pales Lake/Ivinhema River - semilotic system; 2) Guarana Lake/Baia River-lentic system; and 3) Cortado Channel/Parana River - lotic system. On each subsystem were defined 5 locals to take composite samples. In three years were realized 24 collects campaigns: 12 monthly (1(st) year) and 12 bimestrials (2(nd), 3(rd) years). The water samples at the collect moment were acidified at pH<2 with concentrated HN0(3). in the laboratory were preconcentrated and at the same time digested with HNO3 concentrated. The water hyacinth samples in the collect moment were divided in roots, stems (petioles) and leafs and separately dried and stored. The roots and sediments samples were decomposed with a nitric-perchloric acid digestion. The samples copper concentration values were obtained with the absorption atomic spectrometry method - flame technique. The results expressed in intervals of values, median and average, for each subsystem, were respectively: a) water, ng.mL(-1): 1)nondetected (nd)-61.60; 3.65, and 6.92; 2) nd - 108.44, 1.25 and 7.06, 3) nd 109.00, 3.94 and 10.50, with global average 8.17. b) water hyacinth roots, in mu g.g(-1): 1) 9.93 - 51.50, 30.10 and 29.61; 2) 3.78 - 22.76, 10.50 and 10.53; and 3) 25.15 - 73.05, 34.98 and 40.90, with global average 27.01. c)-sediments, in mu g.g(-1): 1) 1.60 - 67.20, 28.24 and 32.77, 2) 7.05 - 51.45, 18.87 and 20.62; and 3) 0.95 - 44.90, 11.97 and 15.23, with global average 22.87. The results analysis let to conclude that the copper concentrations, at the 5% significance: a) in water, for the three subsystems do not present significative difference, but differ in collect periods, b) in water hyacinth roots and sediments differ significatively both in the subsystems (collecting stations) and collects periods (temporality) There is a direct relation between the copper concentration in the water hyacinth roots with the subsystem lotic character. Along three years it is not verified copper concentration increment in the alluvial plain.
