The characteristics and policy simulation of Shenzhen circular economy

摘要
In this article, the author establishes a system dynamic model to carry on simulation for the traditional development mode and circular economic mode in Shenzhen up to the Year 2030. The simulation shows that the GDP and population of the city will increase remarkably in 2020 by following circular economic development mode. In addition, water shortage and environmental problems will be partially solved due to the implementation of the circular mode. Suggestions for water saving as well as population and pollution control are provided at the end of the paper based on the results from the simulation.
