Dedicated Applications of Noise Radars

a novel approach for design of Radar sensor for shot range applications based upon Noise Radar Technology is presented. This radar technology relies on transmitting of wideband noise/random signals and coherent processing of radar returns. We have carried out experiments on generation of 2D and 3D tomographic imaging using Ka-band continuous waveform noise radar and two antennas with beam synthesizing. The method enabled implementation of millimeter wave 'video' camera which is promising devices in many applications, such as homeland security; covert operation and detection of terrorists inside and outside buildings; etc.
