Antigen rh"(E) as a cause of hemotransfusion reaction and hemolytic disease of newborn (two cases).

Two cases of hemolytic complications after hemotransfusion and during pregnancy are described. The two cases of hemolytic complications were associated with antibodies of the anti-E Rh system. Repeat pregnancies in combination with hemotransfusion preceded formation of antibodies. The antibodies belonged to the IgG class, and they were reactive in the antiglobulin and polybren tests. The two sensitized women had Rh+ positive reaction.
