摘要
Two key characteristics of systems of systems are operational and managerial independence. But what do these terms really mean, and what am I supposed to do about it? This paper is a dialogue about assessing the operational relationships between the constituent systems within a system of systems, and the managerial relationships between the organizations that own them. For each of the relationship types, or affinity options, a framework for tangible, actionable guidance is offered.
