摘要
This work focuses on viscous flow of an incompressible fluid over a curved stretching surface with nonlinear power-law velocity in the presence of a variable applied magnetic field. By means of similarity transformations, the governing equations are transformed into the nonlinear ordinary differential equation. In order to solve the governing equation we propose the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method (OHAM). Unlike other classical methods, only one iteration leads to highly accurate results, due to a rigorous procedure for convergence control. This procedure can be easily applied to other strongly nonlinear problems.
