摘要：

In recent years, especially after the Chernobyl Accident, automated radiation monitoring systems increase its importance in the field of radiation protection. To realize such a system, Turkish Atomic Energy Authority, Cekmece Nuclear Research and Training Center initiated the "Early Warning Environmental Radiation Monitoring System Design and Development Project" in the year 1995. Developed system presently is operating successfully in 67 sites in Turkey.
