摘要
To realize an IOPO, one need a good nonlinear substrate in which it is possible to realize low-loss waveguides and fulfil the phase-matching conditions. In this paper, I will present the problems researchers have faced, the techniques they have used and the results they have obtained by using either proton exchange or titanium indiffusion to create waveguides in periodically poled lithium niobate.
