Realization of fuzzy controller with parameters PID self-tuning by combination of software and hardware

摘要
Fuzzy controller with parameters PID self-tuning can be realized-by either software or hardware. However, the realization by software results in poor performance in real time, and the realization by hardware has such disadvantages as difficult realization and high source consumption. The fuzzy controller proposed in this paper is realized with the PID regulator realized by software and the parameters PID fuzzy inference (or self-tuning), realized by hardware. Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) is applied to the realization of parameters PID fuzzy inference by hardware. The advantage of this combination method is the performance in real time is balanced with the consumption in system source, and the controller has good control performance, as well.
