A path-analysis of the US MBNQA model for Hong Kong manufacturing companies in mainland China

摘要：
This paper reports the research that evaluates quality management practices of Hong Kong manufacturing companies in mainland China. The research is based on the path analysis of the US quality award model. It is found that the mechanism in Hong Kong companies is different to that in the US companies. The result will be of great implications for Hong Kong companies to improve further. It also has implications to re-design the quality award model in Hong Kong and other regions/countries.
