摘要
Ozone is effective at oxidizing a wide range of organic and inorganic compounds and disinfection. Ozonation of reactive red dye wastewater effluent at a dose of 3000 mg/ h for 15 min resulted in 63% color removal while for the wastewater 30 min ozonation furnished 91% color removal. Optimal process conditions for lab effluent (pH = 9 and temperature = 40 degrees C) resulted in 95% color for 25 min ozonation. The quality of the treated water that was obtained from our pilot study was better than the national standards.
