摘要
Qualitative techniques are important in artificial intelligence. The extended CDC (XCDC) formalism can be successfully used for representation and reasoning about the spatio-temporal aspects of complex events. The model was implemented and tested in the POLINT-112-SMS system providing assistance to the security staff during a large-scale event involving a large number of participants. In this paper we present the process of the construction of the set of spatio-temporal relations expressed in the XCDC model which are conceptualized in a natural language. We also discuss the properties of this collection and show how these relations can be simply combined and partially ordered to get an ontology-like structure.
