摘要
We present a theoretical formalism for the calculation of the field distributions inside different types of gyrotropic multilayered structures, as well as their reflection and transmission properties. We show the applicability of this approach by calculating the relative changes in the reflection amplitudes for both s- and p-polarized waves, impinging upon slabs with different kinds of optical anisotropy. Furthermore, we show how to obtain, the dispersion relations of the surface electromagnetic modes linked to extreme values of transverse magneto-optical Kerr effect.
