摘要
Tower vacuum dryer is new drying equipment. Its heating is by hot water through the diamond pipes. So the hot water's flowing has important effect on drying quality. Based on fluid dynamics equation, k-epsilon model, the flowing characteristics in heating pipes was analyzed. The model is implemented and solved with three-dimensions by finite element method (FEM) using the software Gambit and Fluent. The research showed that the structure used has some problem. A few pipes' water has higher the flowing velocity. Most of them have so low flowing velocity. In order to improve this phenomenon, a circle baffle with 120mm diameter was settled in 20mm away from inlet. So, the velocity distribute was changed, get the better effect.
