摘要
The novel method investigated in this paper represents an improved solution to implement Post Detection Integration (PDI) in the code acquisition scheme of a spread spectrum system, when a frequency error is present. The method is developed in AWGN and is applied in fading channels as well. The envisaged method is based on the application of the Maximum Likelihood criterion. The resulting performance is compared with the classic Non Coherent and Differential PDI schemes. The paper highlights possible applications in the field of satellite mobile communications.
