摘要：

Diabetes care is a complex and multifaceted process, which follows the bio-psychosocial model of health. In addition to symptomatic relief and prevention of chronic complications, diabetes care aims to achieve wellbeing and good quality of life. One way of doing this is meditation. This communication describes the evidence based concept of meditation strategies such as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in diabetes care. Such therapies hold promise as useful adjuvant therapy in diabetes.
