摘要
In this paper,a slotted ultra-wideband (UWB) microstrip patch antenna is proposed. The antenna works in 5.2-42 GHz (155.93% fractional bandwidth) range with a return loss of 10 dB. Based on liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with height of 0.1mm, the antenna has an overall size of 23.6mm x 15.4mm x 0.1mm. The presented antenna is planned and optimized through HFSS and exhibits a good result from reflection coefficients. The designed antenna can be used in UWB systems and C-band (4-8GHz), WLAN (5.2-5.8GHz), X-band (8-12GHz), Ku-band (12-18GHz), K-band (18-27GHz), Ka-band (27-40GHz), and the coming 5G wireless system.
