Analysis of long term survival patients with small cell lung cancer (SCLC)

摘要：
An analysis of the long term results of treatment of 312 patients with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is presented. The patients with limited SCLC received chemotherapy and radiotherapy in Cancer Research Center according special protocols in 1974-1994. 56 patients (18%) were alive 2 years, 15 patients (4,8%) - 5 years, 8 patients (2,6%) - 10 years. Long term survival in patients with SCLC was not depended from chemotherapy regimen and PCI. Only a small proportion of patients with SCLC are cured by current treatment.
