摘要
Specific features of optical control of propagation of surface plasmon polaritons in plasmonic circuits based on thin metal waveguides and semiconductor nanostructures are considered. A model of plasmonic resonator with additional semiconductor elements, exhibiting strong photoconductivity, is proposed. Numerical simulation is used to show the possibility of switching the surface plasmon polariton flow in a plasmonic circuit by switching on/off the external optical pump field, changing the contribution of light-induced conductivity of control elements.
