摘要：
The influence of vertical and composite breakwaters on the breaking wave phenomena is a very complicated problem. A strong correlation exists between breaking wave shapes/kinematics and the magnitude, distribution, duration and characteristics of the impact pressures/forces. This paper presents results from a series of laboratory experiments, with the aim to describe the hydrodynamic processes in front of composite breakwaters in fully random wave conditions.
