Realization of a Novel Transformer-less Grid-PV Interfaced Inverter

摘要
In this paper, grid connection of a single phase, Cuk derived, novel inverter topology that does not need a transformer is presented. This inverter consists of five switches, possesses Buck-Boost capability and topologically guarantees the elimination of the ground leakage current. To validate the theoretical analysis and design, a detailed simulation study is carried out. Experiments were conducted on a 300W laboratory prototype in stand-alone and in grid connected mode and results are analyzed. The results demonstrate the suitability of the inverter for transformer-less grid interface in single-phase applications with single power conversion stage. The inverter structure can also be used as a micro-inverter integrated to the PV module.
