Research on the Insufficiency and Countermeasures of Citizen Participation in the Advancement of Good Governance in China

The good governance has been the inevitable choice of the public administration in modem China. Positive orderly citizen participation is the important mechanism of good governance, we can find the speedy, healthy and orderly citizen participation positively impacts on the government in the advancement of good governance, on the other hand, the insufficiency of citizen participation has inferred the healthy improvement of good governance in our country. This paper is an in-depth analysis and discussion on interconnections between good governance and citizen participation, the concrete respects of insufficiency of citizen participation and put forward ideas to cultivation of civil society, legislation of laws and regulations of public participation, construction of public participation culture to dissolve the insufficiency.
