Comprehensive Evaluation of Economic Benefits of Tourism

For nearly three decades, China's tourism industry has developed rapidly, and gradually become the pillar industry of national economy, meanwhile, provincial and municipal tourism development imbalance is also becoming increasingly prominent. In order to better understand the current status of tourism in each province and to better assess the development prospects, Time Dynamic Evaluation is used to evaluate the economic benefits of tourism of that 31 regions from 2004 to 2006, which, then will be treated as a measurement of economic benefits of tourism for each region. After that, "order-difference" will be used to illustrate the development of regional tourism in the three years. Taking into account the differences in the level of provinces and cities affected by a number of economic factors, we analyze the correlation between economic benefits and tourists' attitude towards the quality of service and facilities. We show that an economic benefit is influenced little by the assessment of quality of service and facilities given by tourists.
