摘要
The studies of litters in the forests of the Kazakh denudational upland, Southern Urals, and Central Siberia enabled us to find some common regularities of litter accumulation and decomposition that are dependent on relief conditions and the moisture regime of ecotopes. Abundant empirical data (more than 300 test plots) were used to develop graphical models showing the effect of different ecotopes on the intensity of biological processes. Forest litters are stable indicators of site conditions in forest biogeocenoses.
