On the relationship between the Eulerian and Lagrangian statistics of a Brownian particle

摘要
Statistics of particles (smoke aerosol in the atmosphere) reaching a prescribed spatial region are analyzed. The effects of both regular and random forces acting on the particles are taken into account. A method is proposed for calculating the probability distributions of various quantities (time required to reach a prescribed location, particle velocity in its vicinity, etc.), and its scope is determined as depending on the parameters of the problem.
