摘要
An alternative methodology for the analysis of partial electrical discharges in transformers and other electrical devices, suitable for the diagnosis of the type and possible origin of such discharges is outlined. First, the fundaments of partial discharge phenomena in electrical insulating materials is reviewed. Then, the traditional analysis methodology is depicted and the characteristics of the wavelet transform are explained. Finally, the results of the proposed analysis, applied to actual signals are discussed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
