摘要
Generally, the antenna design requires the satisfaction of several conflicting objectives related to bandwidth, size reduction, and impedance matching. These criteria produce multiobjective problems, which are formulated and solved in this paper for PIFA antenna. The multiobjective optimization by using a genetic algorithm for designing a PIFA antenna is presented in this paper. This approach is used to obtain the antenna that has the best reflection coefficient performance and the desired operating frequency at 33 GHz while maintaining the overall dimensions of the antenna small. The simulated results show a PIFA antenna that covers a 2.88 to 4.32 GHz band. Good omnidirectional radiation patterns were also observed. Details of the design realization are described and discussed.
