Measurements of the solubility and diffusion coefficient of 4He in liquid 3He in the Fermi-liquid region

摘要：
The solubility of He-4 in He-3 has been measured down to 40 mK at various pressures. resulting values of m(4)* and v(4)*, the effective mass and partial volume, are used to predict the diffusion coefficient D from Fermi liquid theory. Measurements of D at 50 to 100 mK agree well with the theory. At 24 atm, a prewetting transition is observed in the He-4 film in contact with the He-3.
