摘要
Morphology and gas sensitive properties of composite films have been studied. Graphite/silicone rubber composite system exhibits better gas-sensitive response properties than those of carbon-black/silicone rubber system. Analysis of composite morphology indicates poor gas-sensitive response properties of carbon-black/silicone rubber system may be due to the presence of carbon gel, because carbon gel would hamper swelling effect of composite. It shows that gas-sensitive properties of composite film are related to their microstructures. Porous structure in composite film would aid diffusion and therefore decrease the response time (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
