MAJOR GLOBAL EVOLUTION TRENDS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON RISKS AND THREATS ADDRESSED TO NATIONAL SECURITY

National security represents the main condition in existence of a nation and a fundamental objective of the government; the referee of national security is represented by national values, interests and objectives. The security environment is complex, full of contradictions and into a going change, under convergent action of a set of military, economical, social and political factors etc. Nowadays sources of threats differ from the ones of last century and will change continually in the next 20-25 years. The risks and threats don't resume only to military conflicts among states but to complex nature. The analyses of major trends of evolution that manifest globally and of the influences which is gained towards risks and threats can affect Romanian national security, can identify the principal ways of counteraction of negative effects. It also assures the framework of understanding and world relegates to future in order to create the conditions to take in time the necessary measurements which are imposed to assure security.
