The software industry has been the strategic industry of China at present, the development of software industry will greatly benefits the national economy. This paper narrates the developing trend of the software industry of the inside and outside world. On the basis of Porter's diamond model for the competitive advantage of nations, then it researches the technology innovation patterns in American, Japan and India soft industry, this paper puts forward technological innovation patterns of soft industry.
