摘要
The Atomic Emission Spectrometry (AES) method using as exciting source the inductively coupled plasma (ICP), is used with ever better results in lead quantitative determinations. This paper presents the ICP characteristics and ICP-AES method advantages. The powder samples taken from the atmosphere an desintegrated with hydrofluoric, nitric and hydrochloric acid in the microwave oven CEM MDS 200. The quantitative determinations were performed with the BAIRD ICP 2070 sequential spectrometer. Following the results thus got, conclusions about the lead distribution in various highly populated town areas, located on varoins wind directions, and at various distances from polluting source, could he drawn.
