摘要
Axial vibration drilling has some characters that are not owned by common drilling, such as separation, impact, repeated extrusion and speed change etc, so it has many particular processing effects. In this paper, the reason why axial vibration drilling can decreases availably the exit burr is analyzed. Because axial vibration drilling can increases the height of remaining material in hole bottom, make the direction of the cutting speed and the operating angle of major cutting edge change periodically and improves the capacity of chip breaking and chip removal, It can restrain and decrease effectively the exit burr. Furthermore, axial vibration drilling can improve the drill-in character and the cutting condition of chisel edge, which is beneficial to reducing the exit burr.
