Study on vibration characteristics of the sun gear for planetary gear trains

摘要
By the simplified parameter model of the planetary gear train, the meshing stiffness variations of the sun-planet and the ring-planet gear meshing area are separately defined to deduct the relationship characteristics of the meshing phase difference. Therefore a math model is built to analyze the phase difference that restrains the vibration of the planetary gear train. The experimental mechanism data are entered into this calculating model to emulate the vibration track of the sun gear. Thereto it validate that the vibration characteristics of the gun gear of the planetary gear train with the phase difference is better than that without the phase difference and prove that the phase difference design has a remarkable effect for reducing the vibration of the planetary gear train.
