摘要：

A new 7 mus isomer in the drip line nucleus Dy-140 was selected from the products of the Fe-54 (315 MeV) + Mo-92 reaction by a recoil mass spectrometer and studied with recoil-delayed gamma-gamma coincidences. Five cascading gamma transitions were interpreted as the decay of an I-pi = 8(-) {nu9/2(-)[514] circle times nu7/2(+)[404]} K isomer via the ground state band.
