摘要
This article presents a set of considerations that are a fundamental part of a program that aims to justify mining in Ecuador; the basis of this allegation is ultimately based on the notion of good living as outlined in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador in 2008. It conducts an analysis of that notion, with a view to unraveling its meaning, from which it could be derived a legitimation of mining. Elements are shown that allow appreciate the legal core (individual and community rights, and duties of the State) which, in synergy with other contributions of the program, would give rise to a defense of mining extraction in a country that is in the process of development.
